I’m so grateful for the rain! We needed it…and could use a little more.
Tomorrow, SUNDAY 5/24 is Pentecost Sunday, also known worldwide as “the birthday of the Church.”
We plan to share a meal together after worship.
We will have ALL BEEF Hotdogs and Hamburgers with all the fixings, sides, desserts, and beverages. (Please see Tonya on what to bring.)
*If it rains, we will have facepainting in one of the classrooms and live music in the sanctuary.
I do ask that all food and drink remain in the fellowship hall unless we have overflow and need to use other classrooms in the sanctuary.
*if weather permits and we can be outside, we will set up on the pavement in front of the Church. So please bring your chairs and plan for a nice time of fellowship! Also, bring your games just in case.
That’s the best we can do❤️
Since it is Memorial Day weekend, we will also observe a moment of silence for our soldiers who did not make it home from active duty. These men and women, for whatever reason, chose to answer the call to join the military in service to our country.
If you know someone who “did not make it home,” there will be a time in our Worship service to stand in honor of them. We want to acknowledge your grief and share this moment of silence in solidarity with you.
We hope to see you tomorrow!
